

In v6.5, the GUI is coded as an XML file. You can see it in Visual Studio - double click on the file named RackAFX.uidesc and you will see the XML code. You can even edit this code directly if you want to, but I do not advise it unless you are adding VSTGUI4 elements/components that are not featured in RackAFX (for example, the VSTGUI4 Open GL Animation control). Of course you will need to study and understand VSTGUI4 to understand how this works.
Note that you can also freely move this file from one project to another to instantly copy the GUI. You only need to make sure that any custom graphics you've compiled into your first project are also compiled into any that share the same file.
In previous versions, the GUI information was stored in custom arrays on the CPlugIn derived object. Those arrays are now cleared out and free of information. They may be used in the future for feature expansion.
