Page 56 of the "Designing Software Synthesizer Plugins in C++" says that the place to put your DM Dlls is inside the particular DM synth's "Bundle" folder, inside "Contents/Resources/coremodules".    Although "Contents/Resources" exists, the coremodules folder doesn't.   Meanwhile, the SDK (  tells us to put the core modules into a different structure in the VST3 (for windows) directory.  The SDK procedure works fine and I was able to build all the modules and place them as instructed, but does the book method work too or is that now errata ?

I had to change that after the manuscript was submitted. An issue came up where a beta tester was placing several hundred mega-bytes of data compiled into the plugin itself (not part of ASPiK, but it is do-able for things like videos). Anyway, it became a memory nightmare as these were replicated many times for synths, so I moved it. That is now errata.
