Thanks to VariableCook for reporting an issue with registration and HTTPS. He stated:

"I was able to register successfully using the plain HTTP address on Android. You may want to mention to your users that if they have HTTPS Everywhere installed, they'll have to turn it off in order to register, to avoid breaking the registration process."

So, please turn off any HTTPS apps or other types of forced security.
