Hello !
discovered this yesterday 😉
new videos are in my favorites (browser)
ÂÂ
Is there a chance to have the "multiFX" project (used in the videos) to study the new advanced GUI, Host BPM synchronisation, etc. ...
ÂÂ
thanks.

Gwen.
ÂÂ
PS: really great new website. really better than older 😀
PS2 (not Playstation2, post sciptum 2 !): Brand new site, brand new face (Will avatar... 😀 😀 )

Didn't see it in the release notes (it's a smaller feature so that makes sense), but I see the infinite tails option in the project settings now.
ÂÂ
Having trouble getting it to function as desired when checked -- checked the box, reloaded the solution, rebuilt, reloaded the plug-in, still cuts off at the end of the .WAV.
ÂÂ
Sorry if this isn't the best place for this post.
The Tail Time setting is separate from the Infinite Tail Time, and is made on the Edit Project dialog box:
The default time is 500mSec for new projects. This sets the tail-time in RackAFX as well as the other APIs that include it. ProTools (AAX) does not need it as it processes forever, so there is always a tail time. It has been in place for the last year of beta testing with no problems. Increase it to 2000 or 3000 mSec and try the Reverb plugin to hear it.ÂÂ
The Infinite Tail Time is for VST projects only (including the RAFX-DLL-as-VST-DLL) and does not work with RackAFX (or AU) clients. In this case, once you play audio once, it will continue to process forever, feeding your plugin a stream of 0's (like ProTools). But again, that is VST only, as depicted in the text next to the box.
And, yeah this post should probably go in the Power Users section of the Forum, but no big deal.

Hello,
I am new to RackAFX, I downloaded the latest v6.8.1.3 and unluckily on Win 10 64bit the RackAFX.exe cannot start (missing mfc140.dll).
Pls note that I have installed the 64bit VC2015 redist already, as suggested in the download page.
I can't find anything on the FAQs, where is the place to ask for this kind of basic infos?
Thanks
Hi
You need to install the 32-bit Redistributable for RackAFX since it is a 32-bit program. Installing the 64-bit package also is recommended because it fixed a bug with Windows 7 (the "side by side" error that was an OS issue, not RackAFX). However, I have several machines that only need the 32-bit redistributable installed.
The other option is to install Visual Studio 2015 Community (free) which contains all the needed DLLs. RackAFX is compiled with VS2015, which is why it needs those specific DLLs.
Hope that helps.
Will
