RackAFX 7.0.3.1 is Released | Recent Uploads & Activity | Forum

I have released a very new and updated version of RackAFX v7.0.3.1 (yes, many revisions were done along the way including beta testing with my students, so the new number is much higher than the existing version). This new version adds:

- support for VST SDK 3.7.2 via ASPiK 1.6.8

- ability to create a project with new audio processing functionality; process frames (default), buffers or sub-blocks. Processing buffers or blocks is much more efficient, but a bit more difficult to understand if you are just starting out. \

- more fixes and speedups

FX Book Projects: I have updated all of the book projects on the Download menu to the new RackAFX 7.0.3.1 paradigm so you may download those after installing the new version

Migrating Existing Projects: the new version includes VSTGUI4.10 which changed some of my code to accommodate the new stuff. To migrate your existing projects, please be sure to read the guide here: https://willpirkle.com/Downloads/RackAFX7031Update.pdf

Migrating ASPiK Projects: the new RackAFX uses the latest version of ASPiK, v1.6.8 and you will need to migrate your existing projects if you intend to keep them all in the same ASPiK version. Follow the guide here:https://willpirkle.com/Downloads/ASPiK168Migration.pdf
