




Sorry for the late reply - somehow this post got lost in my list.
Anyway, yes there is actually a hack that you can do to accomplish this (which was discovered by one of my grad students, Matan Ben Ascher). When you create your project, do NOT check the "Output Only Synth" box.
Use the Sound Card Input button to enable the sound card. Your processAudioFrame() will be sent the sound card input which you use as the vocoder stimulus. Then, you synthesize audio and use the input from the sound card only as a control source.
