Hi Will and everyone else here,

I hope you're all safe and well and healthy.

I encountered a problem in RackAFX, in a Custom GUI, although it's probably in the ASPiK core.

When I load a plugin in RackAFX, e.g. the IIRFilters example project, then load its custom GUI, and double click a text edit connected to a dial, edit it, then the value set in the plugin internals doesn't correspond to the value I typed in.

The value set in the plugin ends up being approx 50 times higher.

For instance, if I set the filter type to CQParaEQ, the Q to 10, the boost to maximum, and then check the frequency spectrum analyser, when I type a value of 50 Hz into the Filter Freq text box, and wiggle the boost knob on the RackAFX interface, the frequency that was actually set was around 2713 Hz.

Similar for 60 Hz => 3273 Hz.

Similar for 70 Hz => 3703 Hz.

Similar for 80 Hz => 4091 Hz.

So somewhere the conversion from a Custom GUI's text edit to a corresponding value goes wrong, and gets being multiplied.

Maybe it's related to the taper?

I really could use your help with this.

Many thanks in advance,

Matt

This is an update issue regarding the GUI code; I will check this for the new release.
