In light of starting my next plugin project I've been gathering info on robust/efficient C++ coding techniques. Listed below are some of the resources I've found. If anybody else has got anything to add please do so!
•General étiquette via JUCE: http://www.juce.com/documentat.....-standards (I don't adhere to completely everything on this list but it's still a great guide)
•Wikipedia on RAII (safe memory allocation): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R.....ialization
•MS documentation on Smart Pointers: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-u.....79674.aspx
At the moment I'm trying to implement smart pointers and RAII into creating more robust circular delay buffers (instead of just using "new"). If anybody has such experience It'd make my day to see some example code.
Cheers
