Yes, you can already do this using the Make VST function.
MacOS VST support, via Make VST, has been available in RackAFX for the last three years or so. The use of VSTGUI4 guarantees that your Windows and MacOS plugins will have the same look and feel.
See the video which covers both Windows and MacOS VST project development here:
Note that the "RackAFX-DLL-as-VST-DLL" is only available for Windows VST clients, since all MacOS VSTs (and any other MacOS plugins) must be compiled with XCode on a Mac. There is no way to convert a Windows DLL into a MacOS linked library or component without recompiling in XCode as the binaries are completely different for the two OS-es.
You can also see how to use RackAFX to generate MacOS version of ProTools AAX plugins here:
RackAFX v6.9 will be released during the week of Jan 6, 2018. It will update the VST functions to use the latest version of the SDK, 3.6.8, and will alter the paradigm of Make VST, Make AU and Make AAX to use CMake for generating the projects. In preparation, you might want to go ahead and download the VST 3.6.8 SDK and install CMake on your Windows and Mac machines. Video tutorials and web documents will show you exactly how to generate the projects via CMake - it is essentially painless and guarantees a clean project targeted for your version of Visual Studio and/or XCode.
