ASPiK is now fully hosted on GitHub and includes licensing information as well as the standard GitHub features for forking, pull requests, etc... You can download the new ASPiK SDK from GitHub or from the ASPiK website (in ZIP format only).
The ASPiK SDK is 100% complete on GitHub containing the project creator apps as well as all documentation and the current copy of the VSTGUI4 library used in its release. You do not need to run Doxygen since the docs are complete. You do not need to fork VSTGUI4 since it is already included in its entirety.
The licensing allows you to build and sell plugins as you like with no royalty payments or other hoops to jump through. The only restriction involves trying to wrap ASPiK in your own framework, create new frameworks using bits and pieces, and the like.
In other words, if all you want to do is make and sell plugins you may do that unrestricted, without needing to do anything, though I do ask as a courtesy that you place "Made with ASPiK" somewhere on your website page(s) where you are distributing each plugin product with a link to http://www.aspikplugins.com embedded in the text. Note that this is not required by the license, I am only asking as a favor back to me for the work I put into this framework.
If you want to try to incorporate the ASPiK SDK into another framework, or put a new front-end on it, or repackage it etc... then you need to contact me for licensing and written permission to do so.
The SDK code itself is licensed with the BSD-3 Clause license which is very standard - just means you need to keep all copyrights in tact for source code you distribute.
If you have any questions or confusion, don't hesitate to contact me!
