After researching FFT for a while, Iâ€™m now trying to figure out partitioned FFT convolution. I tried both the HiFi-LoFi and the WDL-ol convolver classes. I want to build a basic convolution reverb and the WDL convolver seems to be the best choice for longer IRâ€™s after a few simple tests.
I have downloaded the reverb project from your FXBook to create a few simple reverb IRâ€™s with your Analyzer tool to do some tests with. Creating the IR is not a problem â€“ it appears nicely in the graph â€“ but I canâ€™t seem to save it with the â€˜save h(n)â€™ or â€˜h(n)->Clipâ€™ function. Even when I set a custom IR length of 1000 or 2000 ms, I still get an empty array back with only 1024 samples. (Working with the FIR designer does work very smoothly, but also only up to 1024 samples).
Is it possible to create an IR of say 2000 ms from a RAFX project with your analyzer? Or is 1024 the limit and are the custom higher values only meant for setting the graph?
