Amazed on how the explanation and creation of this feature

I've tried to create a custom Horizontal Switch but i've founded some difficulties, i've made a layout with 10 x 10 grid (let's call it like that) and i've founded that it probably divides the image size for 6, so the click's doesn't correspond to the buttons created, i wonder if there's a possibility to setup the number of divisions of the grid that gets created when I insert my custom graphic image.

I think that this object work dividing for 6 because i've tried with an images with 6x6 grid and it seem to works

The number of image rows must match the number of enumerated variables that the control is linked with. If there are 6 enumerations e.g. {enum1, enum2, enum3, enum4,enum5,enum6} then there must be 6 rows and 6 columns in the graphic.

I did not use knobman to create the final graphic; I used it to create the single buttons in their on/off states, and then put them together in Photoshop into the rows and columns of the final graphic.

It is not the number of controls, but the number of enumerated values when you use the enumerated UINT control type. Typically, this is done with the RackAFX radio buttons (which have a maximum of 8 enumerated values) but it can also be done with the sliders as well (which have a maximum of 256 enumerated values).

Perfect, i've got it and finally i've done it, by the way there's the possibility to make the image show 2 rows of buttons instead of one, for example if i want always to see 6x2 buttons? Or maybe there's the possibility to link two horizontal switches?
I ask this because i would have two rows of buttons to be clickable and have just one button always selected

You can link controls or update controls from within your plugin using sendUpdateGUI()

See the thread here:

Ok, i've got it, I've added two control parameters (int from 0 to 10) and called the userInterfaceChange with their controlIndex, now i need to hide/show one of the two CViewContainer based on if it's clicked the first or the second HorizontalSwitch, i've seen documentation about this and if i will have a problem i'll ask or i'll try again to read čśÇ thanks by the way
