I remember in class that your oscilloscope only showed impulses of the spectrum, versus a filled in spectrum which I am seeing. The impulses would be nice to see the aliasing effect you told us about. On the Analyzer pop out there are some buttons and one says Impulse. This button does not seem to do anything for me.

Click the button marked "Controls" and a panel opens up; one of the check boxes lets you choose filled or unfilled spectrum as well as change other visual parameters.
To understand how the scope/analyzer works, go to Modules->HP/LP Filters and open it. Then click the Frequency, Phase, Impulse and Step buttons to take those measurements. When you move a GUI control it will automatically do another IR and will update the screen immediately.
You won't see aliasing in the Impulse Response for the waveshaper though, you need to use the Oscillator + FFT instead. On the new beta version, the analyzer resolution is way increased so you can really see the aliasing components.
When you play music through the plugin, the scope reverts back to showing you the actual audio in or out.
