Hi Will

First off I want to say Thank you so much for the books you have written! I have found the writing style to be clear and actually make sense. It is my eventual goal to start applying the concepts presented in the book to small discrete microcontrollers/DSP's.

Anyways, the issue I am currently having is getting rackAFX to play nicely with Visual Studio Community Edition 2015. Everytime I create a new project this error pops up in visual studio. Any idea? I am currently running Windows 7 x64. This is with all the default options, I havent changed anything yet.

We've been using RackAFX with VS2015 Community for a year now without issues on both Win7 and Win8.

It sounds like your project file is somehow corrupted, though not sure how.

Please use the Contact page and email me a dropbox link to your whole project and I will try to replicate.

One thing - is your native computer language English? Also, do you have any special characters in your computer Username? This was an issue with a user in Germany.

NOTE:

The project loaded fine for me in VS2015 and we believe this was an installation issue with VS2015 and/or the .NET component on the user's computer. He stated that after switching to VS2013, everything is working.
