Edit. My apologies . I see now this is the wrong forum for this. I don't see a way to delete.
I can't seem to get anything but a completely blank Custom GUI.
I'm trying to get to the point where I can start to debug my own code so I can move on to more complex projects. I'm going through the Volume project with the goal of making it a plugin I could open and use in Reaper, as per the debugging video.
I'm up to the point I've created a working volume control as tested in the RAFX interface.
I'm stuck trying to get a gui working with the control I've managed to create.
I believe I've placed and defined the appropriate items in the Main View of the Custom GUI designer. Nothing I've tried has allowed me to see anything but a blank Custom GUI.
Both the knob graphic and edit box have been "control linked" to the Volume control and saved that way. Everything is placed within a view container as per the video. This entire collection of objects was all saved as a user template.
When I switch back from the gui designer tab to the prototype tab, VS seems to flash as if it's being written by RAFX. I've tried rebuilding, etc at this point. Nothing I have tried has created anything more than an absolutely blank custom GUI as seen from toggling the RAFX custom gui button in the prototype tab view.
Any tips anybody would be willing to offer would be very much appreciated.
I've linked a screenshot of the template I've created and am trying to convert to into my GUI.
