Use the FX book as your guide as it has all the information you need about the control variables and their attributes. Also, see the Appendix A and B for information on the linked list that stores the control objects. The wrapper code shows you how to setup the two basic types of controls, a slider and a drop-list (or string-list) control, one of each.
In the RafxToAUWrap.h file, see the declaration of the volume and mute variables near the bottom. Again, refer to the FX book for details.
In the RafxToAUWrap.cpp file, got to the bottom and setup the control object instances, starting with ui0 and control ID 0 and then index upwards from that. I left detailed comments there for you to understand how the object attributes are initialized. See the FX book Appendix for more details
