Hi, could I please check if the constructor code on p.67, section 3.12.4 should be the same as the constructor code given on p.62, section 3.11.4 (apart from the addition of the statement to cook the volume data)? Apologies if it is just my faulty understanding! ThanksSmile

Hi Paulc

Yes, that is a typo on p67. The code on page 62 is correct for the first part, then the cooking code follows.

As always, when in doubt, confirm with the downloadable sample code, all of which is correct and typo-free.

Also, this post should be made in the Chapter 3 section of this forum. Let me know if you had difficulties doing that.

- Will

Hi Paul

OK cool - glad you got the corrected info. And, please let you students know that they can join the Forum and ask questions freely; I am trying to get the Chapter By Chapter topics some filling now. Also, there is a new version of RAFX out with a completely new GUI Designer that I know your students will love - makes beautiful cross-platform compatible GUIs for VST2, VST3 and AU. Email me and I will send you the password for the Beta site if you want to try it out first. Even the simplest plug-ins now look very sweet and professional.

All the best,

Will
