Hi Will,

congratulations, the 6.5 Version is published! Great !!

I have a question regarding the use of PolyBlep. This works very well, if I have a signal with sharp edges like classical sawtooth. But if I broaden the edge of the swtooth lets say from 1 sample to 20-40 samples (within the "edge" the signal value goes from +1.0 to -1.0 ), I do not find a setting wich is satisfying. There is a minimum of aliasing if I adjust dHeight downwards, but still the aliasing is to high.

Is there a mathematical reason for this, or do I something wrong?

regards

Peter

Hi Peter

BLEP (and PolyBLEP) are designed to adjust a single-sample discontinuity, not multiple-sample discontinuities so that is the root problem.
